Colts: Its Your Turn for the Jets Beatdown
Dear Colts and fans: If you think that resting your starters in the third quarter of the 15th game of the season was a good idea against a team desperate for a playoff berth, then I present to you the New York Jets.
You laid down and let the Jets win. Of course, you may have done that with the thought that you would keep some dignity because you were not ahead by all that many points when the coach pulled the starters. Chances are the Jets may very well have won that game outright.
But…
You laid down. The following week, the Bengals laid down. What happened next? The Jets repaid the favor to the Bengals by knocking them out of the playoffs in the Jungle. Then, the Jets do everyone a favor and knock Phillip Rivers’ whiney ass out in San Diego this week.
Don’t think you are not next on the radar, Colts. Go ahead…take the Jets lightly. Then you will be sitting at home going “what happened?” just like our beloved Who Dey.
And, truth be told, I am pulling for the Jets just to laugh at the reaction.
And, for those Indy fans who were at Brothers the day that Oakland beat the Bengals, and, oh-by-the-way clapped, get ready. We will be clapping loudly when you get knocked out next weekend.
Go Jets!
