In case you have not seen it, the Bengals are #9 in ESPN’s final NFL power rankings, and Don Banks at SI.com has ranked the Bengals #12 of 12 playoff contenders in terms of making a run to the Super Bowl.

Now, if you ask me, Don may just be onto somthing here. But, he does have the Jets one spot above our beloved Who Dey. If he really thinks that, shouldn’t the Jets at least be #8?

Don’t get me wrong. I am fearful of what the #1 ranked defense and #1 ranked rushing game will do to the Bengals this Saturday night.

Las Vegas has installed the Bengals as a three point favorite over the Jets. Thsi particular line is made to make people jump start “the action.” They want people to bet on this game. Well, actually, Vegas would everyone to bet on EVERY game.

My point being, one of two schools of thought are correct here. Either Banks is right, or Vegas is right. And, at this point in time, I am not sure who is right. I just know I am concerned for the game Saturday.
